Adobe Creative Cloud Update

The Sheridan MacTechs have posted on their blog the process for acquiring Adobe Creative Cloud to replace your CS6 Master Collection.  Here are the steps  they have outlined:

1Remove Adobe CS6, or previous versions of Adobe

  • click here
  • Once you’ve followed the guide above, please ensure that there is no trace of Adobe software in your Applications folder, as well as your Utilities folder inside your Applications folder
  • Note: If you previously had a CS6 license key from Sheridan, do not fear — that license is yours forever. Keep a record of it safely and you can always reinstall CS6 again at a later date.

2Reboot your computer

  • This is a very important step, please be sure you reboot.

3Download Adobe CC apps and install as trial mode

4Serialize your Adobe CC apps

  • Your serial will be provided through AccessSheridan > OnTheHub soon (to be announced by IT soon) — information will be through IT’s page.
  • In the meantime: Your trial install (based on you creating an Adobe ID and signing in with it) will work fine for 30 days – more than enough time!
