Media Composer Update – April 2014

For those of you working on Media Composer throughout the summer, you may want to get caught up to the latest version of Media Composer.  We have prepared the latest updates for your below.

If you’re running Media Composer on the PC, the installer below is a PATCH, which means you can install it without uninstalling Media Composer.  If you’re running Media Composer on your MAC, the installer is a FULL INSTALLER which means you need to run the included uninstaller first.

For the MAC version, be sure to copy the installer from the disk image to the desktop of your computer before installing.   Avid has reported that users will experience a kernel panic when attempting to install Media Composer from within the disk image.
